Adopted Puppies and Dogs

Evening Star, aka Chocolate Truffle has been adopted and is now named
Tashi, meaning Good Fortune

Tashi - adopted!

She is a rich chocolate color with hints of black (Dark Chocolate) and she's a snuggler of sweetness. Um, I'm not supposed to have favorites....but...I do. I love this little girl so much that if I could have three dogs I would. She is calm, cuddly, playful and has just a teeny bit of cute spunk. It was difficult for me to place Truffle for adoption; but I am so pleased with the family that has chosen to make her a part of their family. They've been preparing for a dog for a long time and I couldn't be happier with her forever home. I know she will be loved and appreciated for her unique sweetness. Thank you Julie and Lee (and fam), we are delighted that you've chosen our lil' love!

Roxanne "Roxy" Adopted (with Zoey)

We are so excited! Lynne decided that these two "besties" get to live together forever!

Completely white and rambunctiously strong. She is a toy sized Miniature Schnauzer who is independent and playful while being willing to enjoy a good cuddle. She was the second to see, to walk, and she's got a cute snarky bark (which we love and don't encourage because of bad habits). She's a feisty one in her play and then a darling when it comes to cuddling. She's our second largest puppy (still on target to be around 9-10 lbs) and yet still a tiny toy.

She has an extra special story. When the first six puppies were whelped Chessie was exhausted. She had only been drinking water and Sustain (electrolytes) and nursing in between whelping each puppy. We fed her and put her in her kennel, with the puppies, and closed the door so our toddler wouldn't get too friendly. Then we ate dinner. I had a sudden thought that I should check on her and the puppies. I didn't want to bother her; but I also couldn't shake that feeling.

When I opened the door to her kennel I thought something wasn't quite right and I pulled the top off to see better. What I saw was amazing! There was a perfect, and whole, amniotic sac filled with fluid and a sweet white puppy. She had whelped her last puppy all by herself. She seemed anxious to break the water and I helped her do that so she could clean her puppy and eat the sack. I wiped her nose and helped her nurse and she was perfectly fine. We put time of birth for the time we broke the water.

Zoey - Adopted (with Roxy)

Mini is a sweetheart. She likes to snuggle and she loves to be petted. You'll often find her on the bottom of the dogpile. She is five weeks old and she is on target to be between 6.5- 7.5 lbs of cuddly cuteness.
She's gentle and small and simply loves to be on the bottom of the dog pile! She'l like her Grand Dam who is white chocolate with a bit of cream that will crop up every once in a while. I love this sweet darlin'! If you are looking for a calm critter that's super small this sweetheart will fit nicely, just realize she's still a spunky little dog who loves to play.
