Toby (Fudge) Max (Beauty) and Dewey are adopted!

We're so excited for Max and Lonna to have this adorable little cuddler! They got to take Chesapeake Baybee and Toby back to Maryland with them this last week! Toby loves having a new doggy door and so does Chessie! They love playing with the homeschool piano students and cuddling with their mom and dad (Chessie is especially happy to be back with mom and dad. She hasn't been home since December of 2014)!

Beauty was adopted into a sweet family in Utah! :)
Dewey, with the odd health problems he had, was taken off of the market to heal. then we found a family that would love him with the way he is. He is happily loving Gwen and Doug!

Puppies will be ready at 12 weeks of age on July 13, 2015

We are excited to announce that Chesapeake Baybee (white chocolate) and Eclipse Double Fudge (Dark Chocolate) are the proud parents of seven puppies!

We are pleased that we have adopted out Roxy, Zoey and Tashi. They have amazing families and we couldn't be more pleased with the lives that they will get to lead.

If you've been considering a toy sized miniature schnauzer I can't say I've had a better litter. We have Dewey, who is a spitfire of fun and cuddle who wants to find a home where he can play and snuggle. He's the only one without a curly tail because he's always wagging it!
Beauty, who is a gentle and quiet soul who'll play a little and prefers to sit next to you and be a companion. He's excellent with babies and very patient with children.
Oreo is a fun and playful soul and absolutely wants to be with you. He loves to play and he loves to romp and then, oh, he'll just snuggle in and hold you. He really enjoys you rubbing his belly.
When you call expect I answer "Hi, this is Kristy with DanceCore!" because I've got a home business. (801)921-4272

More info on each puppy below

Listed in order of birth

(The adoption cost is based on market value for size, training for at least 12 weeks, and the puppy care package. If you put down a deposit your cost will never go up; but when I do ounce checks they can go down.)

 Dew Star - "Dewey" $2,000

Estimated 6-7 lbs

teeny tiny and therefore he's available later, by at least 1-2 weeks.
update: It depends on if he adequately develops.

We had a puppy like Dewey before and every time I see this adorable little cuddler I think of YukiTomo in his tiny cuteness. He's just sooooo tiny and soooo cuddly. We estimate that he will be 6-7 lbs as an adult.

He would be with me all day if he could, except when he needs to go potty, then he lets me know and he goes in his potty space. He's also a curious little fellow. He'll run across the yard to get to me or to whatever he's interested in.
He was the first born puppy of the litter and he decided he wanted to be breech and so it took quite a while for him to be whelped; but not before we at least tried to turn him. He was "not doing" and was happily born breech on Sunday April 19, 2015 at 2:19 pm. When Chessie had given him his first bath we were delighted to see that he was white just like her. Now that he's had 6 weeks to grow up he also is showing that he has liver spots coming on his skin (which helps prevent sunburn). He'll be sure to make you laugh with his high energy and inquisitive nature!

Black Beauty - "Beauty" $1,000 Estimated 13-14 lbs

Beauty is a true mini Miniature Schnauzer. I love this dark chocolate regal boy, he's a calm and patient pup. He likes to be loved and he doesn't bark when you are done holding him, he just looks expectantly like he would sure love to be cuddled again. He has a sweet song when sirens go by and he prefers to be by your side.  He's excellent at potty training, loves to play with puppy toys and is calm and quiet in his sweet way.

He's an interesting fellow. He's timid to walk around our living room and dining room and he is very quiet. He's prone to curling up and leaning into me or into his kennel. His size chart is putting him at a 12-13 lb toy. He's a gentle soul and he's really excellent with children, cats and other dogs (including large breeds).

Oreo Jersey -  $1,400 Estimated 9-10 lbs

This little boy is turning out to be very well behaved. He recognizes his sire as the alpha and now he'll submit very quickly. He's absolutely a cuddler.

Oreo inherited the medium Toy size and the super soft hair as well. He's so silky and he absolutely loves to cuddle so you can nuzzle his sweet soft hair all you want. He is definitely excellent at escaping our enclosure to get near people; but when he sees me coming he either is successful or in the attempt of getting back in because he knows he's in trouble.

He's named after his grandsire, Double Fudge Oreo, who had very similar markings. He's strong and independent which is why he was the first to walk, the first to open his eyes and he's the first to see clearly through his eyes. He is also an excellent snugler who loves to be rubbed on his neck and nose nuzzle. I could just eat him up he's so darling! Now that we let him around our home he'll walk to the middle of the floor, sit and look up as if he were asking to be held. He loves to fall asleep on your chest and curl up while he's comfy.

His coloring is rather interesting because his tips have a lot of black with white parti; but he's got chocolate all over his back. It is beautiful and silky soft. He particularly likes you to rub his neck and back, but he'll let you scratch his belly when he spreads out on his side.

Size wise he is about the size of his dam Chesapeake Baybee who is 9 lbs 15 oz.

Some of our basic info and rules:

We need to meet you in person or via facetime/googlehangout/skype in order to approve the adoption of one of our sweethearts. We are looking for forever homes and excellent dog owners.  (We speak English, Portuguese & ASL)

We take pleasure in interviewing our puppy's prospective adoptive family.

If you are approved you may pay a minimum of a half down deposit to reserve your puppy and sign the puppy contract. We will then send you updates, photos and help you prepare to bring your puppy to its new forever home. The puppies are potty and piddle pad trained already (at 5 1/2 weeks old!), and they are also learning to be street smart right now. We will keep you updated on kennel training and leash training.

Email us and we'll contact you more about the pups @ Brian@dancecore.us or call our business cell @ (801)921-4272

We train our pups for our sanity (and yours after the adoption) to be piddle pad trained, kennel trained, potty trained and to play with dog specific toys. We also started grooming them when they were one week old so that they would get accustomed to the vibration of the clippers.

We want to make sure your transition is as adorable and calm as possible and work to do so with the presence of our puppy pack. The pack includes at least the following:
  • Kennel (please specify flight or drive)
  • blanket (with pack and Dam scent)
  • ProCare shampoo
  • pickup bags
  • puppy food
  • two food bowls
  • collar (you may specify preferred color if you pick your pup early)
  • leash (you may specify preferred color if you pick your pup early)
  • developmental toys
  • "Be the Pack Leader" by Cesar Milan
  • Birth certificate (with paw prints!)
  • Pedigree
  • 5 year health guarantee
  • lifetime puppy support
  • (born without rear dew claws)
  • first shots
  • de-worming
If you put down your deposit you will also receive about $80 of extra useful things . Otherwise you'll receive what is listed in the pet contract.

It is really important to us that you are a forever home. It is akin to having a child for the next 14-20 years and you need to take into account where you live (predators), your lifestyle (vacations), and your family (reunions where you have family that may not like dogs). It is important to us to have pets and we make sure that we can take them with us for business and family trips; but it has definitely caused some drama and creativity.

These dogs tend to be hypoallergenic for most people since they have no fur (my brother in law is still allergic), however realize that you must keep them clean and well groomed to avoid bringing in allergens on their hair. If allergies are a concern the best thing to do is come and touch and be licked by the puppies to see if any irritation occurs.

It is also important to realize that there are consistent costs relating to dogs such as food, grooming hair every 5-6 weeks, vet checks, licensing with your city, new toys, training snacks, etc. We want to make sure you are prepared to take care of these things and to have your best bud taken care of. He comes from a healthy pedigree and has beautiful stance minimizing the risk of hip displasia.
For the record:
We deliberately choose not to register our dogs with the AKC. It is a political world we don't wish to enter. You may have your dog's pedigree, that's just fun to know! Besides, all of our dogs are the rare sizes and colors that the AKC doesn't like to recognize.

We also deliberately keep our puppies tails. They are so expressive and we love them! both the Dam and the Sire have curly tails that arch back over their backs. When we researched the medical purpose for docking we found it is illegal in the UK and it has no medical purpose. We have adopted a schnauzer out to a family that thought they could never love the tail.  Now their comment is that they just never had a tail on their schnauzers before to know how much they would love it!!

If all of this matches your ideal teeny toy miniature schnauzer with plenty of training, love, and excellent health, then contact us. The snuggling can be dangerous because they will eat your heart out  and wrap it around that little curly tail. You've had fair warning. ;)

Puppy Pickup rules

For those who are looking at these darling pups there are a few rules that I follow to ensure that the puppies go to good homes and there are no scams. Puppies are available June 13, 2015 and NO earlier and possibly later (up to 14 weeks) depending on when their teeth come in.

#1 My second language is ASL so if you are truly Deaf we can facetime or skype, and if all else fails I'll get my neighbor to interpret anything that I truly am not understanding. (I refuse to have conversations with distant buyers that do not also include some phone or facetime.)

#2 If you live in another state you either need to pay for me and the puppy to fly or you need to fly to Utah to pick up your pup. There is an airport in Provo and Salt Lake. We live right next to the tracks so you can ride the train if need be.

#4 We require a 50% deposit, non-refundable, in order to reserve a puppy and lock in the price (as puppies get older the price may change according to size). We accept Venmo, Mindbody, Paypal, checks (you will have to wait four weeks until it clears and we do not accept checks for final payment), and cash.  At that time you need to specify whether you are driving or flying due to the difference in kennel purchase. You may also specify leash and collar color.

#5 If you are baby hungry or going to have a baby soon this is NOT the time to purchase a lifetime puppy pal. The emotion gets muddled and sometimes makes it hard for families when they realize they didn't really want a dog...because cute puppies grow up to be dogs very quickly. The exception to this rule would be if you have previously owned a dog and are familiar with what it entails. If this is the case it's great to have your puppy grow up with your children.

#6 If you are looking for a show dog or to breed show dogs these are not the dogs for you. We start grooming them at a couple weeks old and make sure they are treated like show dogs; but we deliberately do not paper them and their coloring is rare and therefore not accepted by the AKC for show. I'm not too keen on the bureaucracy and I've learned that some of the healthiest schnauzers are not papered. However, I do love genealogy and you may certainly have a copy of theirs. :)

#7 these are very small dogs. our past litters ranging from 7 lbs (Lizzie Mae) to 16 lbs (Chunky Monkey) and would be a lovely target for predators such as cougars, owls, etc., so you'll need to take your lifestyle into account for the safety of your pup. The currently litter is much more the sizing of 6-9 lbs.

#8 We raise inside dogs. They need haircuts every 6 weeks, nails clipped, healthy food (people food just makes them sick anyway unless properly balanced with vitamins), they need baths, and they are really really smart. They can climb most any fence that is leaning and their curiosity and innocence can lead them into trying to discover the neighborhood. They know if you are neglecting them and they get sad if you leave them. They are wonderful at consoling you when you cry, Make sure you are sure that you'll enjoy committing to a schnauzer lifestyle for the next 15-20 years.

#9 If a tragedy happens in your life, that makes it so that you need to re-home your dog, we have you sign in the contract that you will have us re-home it. We do this because we know what to look for and when you are going through something like that you are hardly in a state of mind to find a forever home for your dog.

If you feel comfortable with these rules then we are happy to adopt a puppy into your home.

Service dog!

Our little toy female is a service dog and is normally 7-8 lbs!  We are so proud of our Lizzi Mae!  We're so glad we could bring comfort to her new adopted family :)
Double Fudge Oreo and Maximus are checking her out in her cute pink vest.

Just a short time later our little toy male became a service dog as well!  He is in camo, but we don't have that picture.
